hi your doing good work in this genre,check out ashley woods hellspawn book its great for this type of grungy academic painting ,he of course uses a lot of photoshop textures,I have made work in this genre mixing analogue and digital elements to achieve similar results,if you only want to work only in analogue media try using some screen printed textures over the top of your rendered forms,or alternatively glazes.

I almost completely agree with InstantOatmeal13, especially the part about the zombies ;) Though I tend to love paintings, especially those like this one which aren't perfectly Renaissance-esque...if that makes any sense :P

Anyway, it's kinda dirty and rough and frankly it matches perfectly with the subject. Love it!

I love this. Excellent painting work. I love the colors and I'm TOTALLY jealous of your wicked skills. ;P

This whole thing just works together. I normally find paintings kind of boring, but from the subject matter to the colors and strokes, this entire piece is captivating! Love it!
